I am excited to announce that I have joined forces with photoshop guru Sean Bagshaw on this 2+ day photoshop post processing intensive workshop. This workshop will be focused on the many different skills and techniques used by the top landscape photographers in the world.

Located in the beautiful Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel, with a free 24 hour airport shuttle service.
Within just an hour drive from the Beautiful Columbia River Gorge, and other incredible landscape shooting locations should you wish to extend your journey.

Day 1 (Friday, August 7th 5:30pm - 7:30pm)
Registration starts at 4:30pm.
We'll kick off at 5:30 pm with a casual welcome event and presentation from Nick and Sean on artistic vision and the power of post processing.
Day 2 (Saturday, August 8th 8:00am - 5:00pm)
We'll kick off around 8am with highly focused sessions where we dive deep into focused techniques and full photo walk-through edits.
Nick and Sean will be alternating leading focused segments honing in on particular processing techniques. We will cover topics such as exposure blending, shutter speed stacking, focal length blending, dodging and burning, etc to help fully develop your workflow. Each session will allow time for Q&A.
There will be opportunities for 1:1 or small group coaching and critique outside the main session to help with more specific questions.
Day 3 (Sunday, August 9th 8:00am - 4:30pm)
We'll start back up at 8am and continue with technique lessons, theory and approach discussions, and small group hands on groups.
Our official schedule ends at 4:30pm to allow for flights home.
** Note our schedule is timed such that you can shoot in the evenings on your own or with other attendees on both Saturday and Sunday for those that are interested
Who is this For?
Landscape and cityscape photographers at an intermediate skill level with Photoshop who are looking to take their post-processing to the next level. We welcome ALL levels of photography experience, but recommend that you have some basic familiarity with layers and layer masks in Photoshop to make the most of the workshop. Instruction will include Lightroom / Camera RAW, Photoshop,TK Actions panel, Lumenzia, Nik, and potentially some other related software packages. TK Actions & Lumenzia are not required for the workflows we will be teaching, but some panel or actions to be able to create luminosity masks/selections is recommended.
How many people is this limited to?
Attendance is limited to 50 participants.
Where is the workshop located?
The workshop will be held entirely at the PDX Sheraton Airport Hotel
Where should I stay?
The Hampton Inn shares the same parking lot. and will be the preferred lodging for the workshop
What if I want to share a room?
You will have access to a private Facebook group where you can connect with other attendees to help find a roommate.
I'm driving, where can I park?
The Sheraton offers free onsite self-parking for our workshop.
What are the expected weather conditions?
While we will not be shooting as a group, you may wish to consider an excursion on your own. Typical temps are 57-74F. And there is always a chance of rain in the Gorge
What should I bring?
Your laptop, so that you may edit alongside us as we process the images. We will not be doing any shooting as part of the workshop, but you may wish to consider extending your trip to visit one of the many beautiful landscape locations within a few hours of Portland.
What is included?
Sessions, coffee and tea, and access to a private workshop website with key materials for the workshop or review after (downloadable RAW files, streaming recordings of post-processing sessions).
What is not included?
Transportation, lodging, meals, and other incidentals.
What is the refund policy?
In the event of canceling your participation in the workshop a $100 dollar cancellation fee shall be taken out of the refund. Cancellations happening after July 7th 2020 WILL NOT be eligible for a refund.
